A native Oregonian falls in love with a soon to be wine sommelier down in Napa Valley. The two marry and decide to make Oregon their home. Finding the perfect spot hidden in the hills of Yamhill County, they have established a vineyard and have begun remodeling the existing home. The decision was made that the kitchen became the first part of the project to tackle. The existing space was over compartmentalized and was never going to function properly for their lifestyle, as they love to cook and entertain friends.
Deciding to remove an extra entry point to a tired deck was a High-Five moment between designer and home owner. The new design created all the zones necessary for fine entertaining while overlooking the vineyard. A perfect Pacific Northwest experience.
